In the heart of Chinatown, this restaurant must have over 100 items on their menu! We tried the XLB and pork noodles. The XLB had a thin skin with a nice seasoned filling and plenty of soup inside, the sign of a good dumpling. The pork noodles came with different noodle options. We opted for the thicker noodles. The noodles were obviously freshly made and the broth was light and flavorful. Service was excellent!

One of the best Chinatown restaurants at this price point (i.e. the lowest and most affordable - interior is very cramped and the A/C doesn't work great, so it's a true Chinese xiaochi experience). Deluxe Green Bo specializes in Shanghainese, but like most Chinatown joints, they'll have Cantonese dishes and dishes from other regions like spicy eggplant and dry-fried green beans (both very solid). The XLB here are also halfway decent, but would recommend Shanghai 21 or Joe's for XLB generally. Pan-fried buns (shengjianbao) are also passable but still the case that there are no truly good ones yet in NYC west of Flushing. The standout dish was the dong po pork, which is not altogether common on restaurant menus, especially at a divier no-frills spot with a large expansive menu like this. It tasted super fresh and was I think $17-18 for a fairly large portion. I'd come back just for this dish alone.

**CASH OR VENMO ONLY** Deluxe Green Bo is one of those places that I've walked by a million times. Finally tried it on a recent Sunday over a holiday weekend. There was no wait for two people at around 5:45 PM. I tried the scallion pancake, pork soup dumplings, eggplant with garlic sauce and beef with broccoli. The beef was amazing - my favorite thing that we ate. Eggplant was also excellent. The only miss was the dumplings; would skip those next time. Service was really good, too! They serve hot tea, and ice water is available upon request.

Delux Green Bo in Chinatown NYC is a gem for anyone seeking authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant exudes a traditional charm that is both inviting and unpretentious. Our meal began with the signature pork and shrimp dumplings, which were a revelation. The dumplings were perfectly steamed, with a delicate wrapper and a flavorful, juicy filling that melted in your mouth. Next, we tried the fried rice, which was expertly prepared with a delightful balance of textures and flavors. The grains were perfectly cooked, not too greasy, and complemented by a generous mix of vegetables and proteins. The steamed spinach was a refreshing accompaniment, offering a light, healthy counterpoint to the other dishes. Delux Green Bo is a must-try for anyone seeking genuine Chinese dumplings and traditional fare in New York City. The combination of high-quality ingredients, skilled preparation, and a warm, authentic atmosphere makes this restaurant stand out in the bustling Chinatown scene. Whether you're a longtime lover of Chinese cuisine or new to the delights of soup dumplings, Delux Green Bo will not disappoint.

$5.95 for 8 fried tiny pork buns was an amazing price, and the takeout wait time was less than 10 minutes. I believe they charge extra with card, so I would come by with cash. These pork buns were so juicy and delicious, and the sauce it came with was very flavorful. I can't speak for the dine-in experience, but I highly recommend this restaurant for takeout!

I've heard from multiple sources that their soup dumplings are pretty good! They were definitely up there. They were also half the price of the local competitors though they were maybe a tad smaller. Aside from their soup dumplings, they're hit or miss with the food. I really didn't like the rice cakes. They lacked the wok flavor and were very hard without much flavor. The double cooked pork was just ok. The fried buns, chicken and broccoli, Shang hai noodles were all good.

Came here with a group of 8ish people in the evening on a Wednesday and got a seat pretty quickly for a small and yet popular spot. This casual spot is a mix of Cantonese dish with snacks like soup dumplings and buns. The crab soup dumpling was a bit too salty but it had good structure and soup amount. Most of the dish had good flavor and wasn't too salty. Sweet and sour fish and fried pork buns were my favorite. Service is quick. Price is fair. I would definitely come back again.

Superb crab and pork soup dumplings, containing more soup than a certain famous name brand from Taiwan and Western United States. The wrapper is just as thin and stretchy to hold all that soupy goodness. Will definitely go back to try their other items on the menu (all appear 30% cheaper than in Calif.) One of the better places in NYC Chinatown that will make both your wallet and your taste buds happy.

We got takeout. Loved the fried tiny buns, the bottoms were crispy and delicious! It was about $9 for this container. There is a restroom for customers. The woman taking my order was very friendly.
